my art lives here alone now
probably about to get ALOT more active on here too like actually posting sketches and stuff on the regular
When you guys print out your work, where do you get it printed? I’ve been looking around with no success, and I have a few projects I need printed D:
Also, how do you fix the resolution on your work? I finished a piece, but When I do try to look at places to print it, it always says that the piece is of “Low Resolution” and that printing it will come out pixely D:
I don’t want to redo the whole piece QAQ Is there an easy way to fix this problem? Thank you guys for the help! ^o^?
idk if you still need an answer to this, but if you don’t need to make it a ton bigger (like if you only need it to be 2-4x bigger) just resize the image, then gaussian blur, then sharpen a little
it wont be perfect but it will be much better than just printing it low res
or for better results you can resize it and then go over the major lines with a brush to smooth it out (or do this in combo with the above)
What do you charge for commissions? I just got asked to do some family portraiture by someone who liked my comic book work, and I don’t really know what standard rates are, or how much price difference to offer for linework / b&w / full-color. Any advice?
the standard starting price for most illustrators is $20/hour
other than pixiv and deviantart?
